Hemp seed milk boasts a rich, creamy and slightly nutty flavour and makes a delicious alternative to ordinary milk. Cholesterol free and packed with beneficial nutrients, hemp seed milk is especially suitable for those who are allergic to dairy products or are lactose intolerant. And preparing it at home just couldn’t be any easier!
Ingredients
– 6 drops of stevia
– ½ cup of shelled organic hemp seeds
– 3 cups of mineral water
– A dash of Himalayan salt to taste
Preparation
Place all of the ingredients into a blender and blitz until a smooth, milk-like liquid forms. Pop the hemp milk into your refrigerator and leave to chill. Serve as you would dairy milk, on breakfast cereals, in tea, coffee and your favourite smoothies or simply enjoy on its own.
