Chaparral (Larrea tridentata)

Traditionally used topically for relief of:

• Chickenpox spots
• Shingles lesions
• Dandruff
• Itchy skin.

Anti-parasitic and anti-fungal properties, but please not that it will not clear systemic fungal or parasitic infections.

Contains: 
Chaparral (Larrea tridentata), alcohol, distilled water, vegetable glycerin.

All herbs are certified organic or wild.

 
Chaparral contains resinous material which could make the tincture sticky. This is not a quality issue.

Directions for Use

Best used in topical applications or made as a tea unless being used under the instruction of a herbalist.

For excess phlegm, congestion and chest infections: 
Add 1 dropper to a cup of hot (not boiling) water and drink like a tea, up to 3x/day.

For skin conditions (chicken pox, shingles, itchy skin, dandruff):
Add a dropper full in Skin Moisturizer (non-toxic lotion) and apply to affected area a few times a day. Alternately make a poultice with 1 cup of water and 3 droppers of Chaparral. Dip a clean cotton cloth in the mixture and place on affected area for at least 15 minutes.

Caution: 
Keep away from children. 

Not for use with pregnancy or nursing.

Recommended Use

Anti-parasitic and anti-fungal properties, topical relief for itchy skin and dandruff, helps relieve chickenpox and shingles lesions and may reduce excess phlegm and congestion.

Contraindications

Do not use while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Do not use internally (orally) if you have a liver condition.

Large doses can cause vomiting (emetic).

Not for long-term use in most cases unless supervised by a herbalist.
